Employment of medical transcriptionists is projected to grow
faster than other BPO jobs in India.
Based on our experience in transcription, a graduate trained
in the yr 2000 as a transcriptionist with a package of Rs.
4000/- per month earns more than Rs 25,000/- per month by
year 2008 ( 6 times growth in salary in 8 years) . Today for
every 10 possible transcription job openings in India there
are only 6 transcriptionists available, there is a shortage
of trained transcriptionists across the country.
